Thanks for the memories

nature's medicine
clears the clutter
penetrating silence
injected into my veins
waiting...
waiting...
peace engulfs
memories stuffed into a box
stored
safely
a smile
of calm
and thanks for the memories

Focus

People often remark at how I can take photo's of absolutely nothing. I thought I would share my photo's to show them what they are missing out on. Here's my view of Xmas this year. Hope you all had a beautiful one too!

Room for two

Mr Woodman was once in love with the scent of vine ripened tomato's...it drove him wild

he made sure they were always close at hand
their perfect, juicy, round succulent spheres were all he had
his image of them would never falter

the tomato's swelled plumply, straining
for the touch of Mr Woodman
they craved his warmth and passion

Mr Woodman would spend hours with his tomato's
fondling them, playing with them,
his passion for them unwavering

amazed by their beauty
their sheer perfection
he was happy, content and satisfied

the vine-ripened tomato's would spend hours
preparing themselves for the ultimate sensation,
they knew this was their destiny

One day whilst Mr Woodman was worshipping his vine-ripened tomato's,
in the distance a ginger cat was watching with curious amusement
Mr Woodman was surprised at this sudden attention

Mr Woodman wondered how long this ginger cat had been there,
watching him, laughing at him, admiring him
what was she thinking?

Mr Woodman suddenly forgot about his precious vine-ripened tomato's
and started to wonder more about this soft, cottonwool creation
sitting their gracefully, casually dreaming of rich creamy milk dripping down her chin

his obsession grew to enormous propositions
he needed to get closer to this heaven sent goddess
he wanted to drown in her touch, her smell, her essence

she was wild and exciting
he felt her heat, her heart beat
and knew that she would singe him or maybe even bite off his hand

he offered himself to her,
she was shy and innocent
his passion was intoxicating

he knew he had to have her
his patience paid off
their love and desire was all encompassing

the only question now was
would there be room for his vine-ripened tomato's?

I have learnt

forgiveness is the greatest gift,
forgive me...
love made me do it
